Betrugsversuch melden

Erfahren Sie, wie Sie Phishing und andere Betrugsversuche erkennen und melden können.

If you receive any suspicious emails regarding payever, forward it to security@getpayever.com to report the incident. Please do not include any other information in the email you forward. Our team will investigate the report and will take action if needed. Always report phishing scams to avoid further incidents.

Why Should Report Phishing Scams?

Phishing is an attempt by a fraudulent imposter to collect personal and/or financial information over email, phone or text message. These fraudulent imposters typically acquire this information by verbally requesting it over the phone. Another method is to send unsolicited emails or texts messages that ask recipients to enter personal information into fake websites imitating and posing as the real ones.

Do Not Share Sensitive Information

Keep in mind that payever will never ask you to send sensitive information such as your username, password, bank account details, or credit card information over email, phone or text message.

If you receive a suspicious email, do not reply to the message, do not provide any personal or account information, do not click on any links in the message, and do not open any attachments the email may contain. If you believe that you are a victim of a phishing scam, please immediately change your email password and payever account password and report the incident.

Verify the URL

It is common for phishing emails to contain links that direct recipients to a non-secure page. Such a page may ask to enter your username and password (and sometimes additional sensitive information such as your Credit Card Number). Always make sure that you are visiting a secure site before entering your payever login information.

Verify that the web address in your browser is https://mein.payever.de. Check also the presence of a lock icon next to the web address. A lock icon in the web browser indicates secure connection.
